Emmanuel Announcements:
Grace Announcements:
The Ladies of Grace will meet on Thursday, February 16th, at 6:00 PM at the church. Anyone who would like to is welcome to bring a snack or dessert to share. All women of the church, teens, and friends are welcome.
The upcoming Coffee Hour dates are: February 19, March 4, and March 18.
The Ladies of Grace is collecting items for the Centre County Women’s Resource Center through the middle of March. There are flyers available in the vestibule that list the items needed.
St. John’s Announcements:
The greeters for February 19 will be Sandy Telegraphis and Mikayla Paolini.
February 6: The Sewing Group will meet from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
Students at Penns Valley Elementary/Intermediate School are collecting empty Capri Sun juice packs to be sent to a recycling plant. The school receives two cents for every pack collected. There is a box in the women's coat room at St. John's to put your donations. Thanks for supporting this cause.
Tri-Penn Announcements:
The annual Northern Association Workshops will be held February 5th with registration beginning at 1:30 - 4:15. This year's workshops will be held at Hublersburg UCC. Three workshops will be offered of which participants may choose two. They are:
1. Mission trips taken by various churches in the association, with pictures and participants on hand to answer questions
2. The Importance of Buying and Supporting Local, with Kim Tait of Tait Farms
3. Church Word Search, giving everyone a chance to find and learn about the Acronyms of the UCC
A workshop for youth will also be held. Everyone is invited to bring a snack made with local products, i.e. breads, apples, cheese, honey, maple syrup, etc. The church is handicapped accessible.The Tri-Penn Bible Study on Job will meet on Tuesday at 7:00 PM at Grace. All are invited to attend.
Confirmation class will meet on Wednesday, 7:00 PM at the parsonage.
Please come to the Valentine’s Spaghetti Supper, to benefit the East Penns Valley Area Branch Library located in Millheim. The supper will be held on February 11, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. The price of the meal is $10 for adults, $5 for children aged 5 to 12, and free for children younger than 5. Enjoy the Valentine’s Day ambience at the Aaronsburg Civic Club, or take out your supper! Tickets may be purchased in advance at the library, or at the door that evening.
